Job Description

Skills & Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification strongly preferred Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical respiratory setting Proficient with ventilator management, aerosol therapies, airway management, and related procedures Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams CPR certification (BLS required; ACLS preferred) Ability to assess, plan, and deliver safe, quality care for patients of various ages
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory treatments, including initiation and monitoring of mechanical ventilation Conduct thorough patient assessments and respond quickly to emergencies involving airway management Perform diagnostic testing such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests Document all therapies and observations clearly and accurately in patient medical records Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and equipment use Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals to optimize care delivery Adhere strictly to established safety, infection control, and clinical guidelines This contract role offers the opportunity to expand your clinical skills in a supportive environment and make a difference in patient outcomes.
