Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Valid license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in applicable state Experience performing respiratory assessments, administering treatments, and responding to respiratory emergencies Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families Familiarity with a wide range of respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based respiratory care and treatments in accordance with physician orders Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis, spirometry, and pulse oximetry Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation and related equipment for optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and family members on proper respiratory techniques and equipment use Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Respond to rapid response calls and code situations as part of the clinical emergency team

The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
