Lead respiratory services across assigned skilled-nursing facilities, with responsibility for clinical standards, regulatory readiness, staff development and program performance. Responsibilities Standardize respiratory protocols and oversee pulmonary, tracheostomy, oxygen and ventilator care. Prepare programs for surveys and address clinical risks. Improve outcomes and reduce avoidable hospital transfers. Manage staffing, equipment, supplies and budget needs. Develop therapists and managers; coordinate with facility and medical leadership. Required qualifications Current RRT credential and active New York respiratory therapist license. Relevant bachelor's degree. Five years of progressive respiratory leadership. Three years of multi-site, skilled-nursing, subacute or long-term-care experience. Knowledge of CMS and New York DOH requirements. Demonstrated clinical-program improvement. Preferred Graduate degree, ventilator/pulmonary rehabilitation leadership, multi-SNF oversight and quality-improvement certification.
