What You'll Do As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care and support in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, facility policies, and applicable professional standards.

Responsibilities may include:

Assess residents' respiratory status and provide appropriate respiratory therapy services Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies Monitor residents receiving oxygen therapy and other respiratory support Assist with the management and monitoring of residents with chronic and acute respiratory conditions Perform respiratory assessments and document resident progress and response to treatment Monitor oxygen saturation and other relevant clinical indicators Provide airway management and pulmonary hygiene as appropriate Maintain, clean, and ensure proper operation of respiratory equipment Identify changes in resident condition and communicate concerns promptly to nursing and medical providers Collaborate with nursing, physicians, rehabilitation, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow infection prevention, safety, and respiratory care protocols Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate Help promote resident comfort, independence, and quality of life What We're Looking For We are looking for a Respiratory Therapist who combines strong clinical skills with compassion, patience, and a resident-centered approach to care.

Qualifications include:

Current Respiratory Care Professional license in the State of Ohio Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program CRT or RRT credential, as applicable Current CPR/BLS certification Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred Skilled nursing, long-term care, hospital, pulmonary, or post-acute care experience is a plus Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team Compassionate and professional approach to resident care Why Carlisle Manor?
