4 Description American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a
NICU/PICU/CVICU
position requiring RRT certification and at least 2 years of experience in high-level pediatric critical care. Details Work within RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU units treating pediatric patients High level of care (Level 4) NICU experience required Night shift schedule with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts May float to Shaker Children's Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU 8 or 12 week contract length Requirements NBRC certification required BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of experience required Ohio RRT license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable) Experience in PEDS, PICU, and NICU high-level care required 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty required for Ohio locations Active certifications required with no pending certifications at time of submission Two professional references required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from assignments worked in the past 12 months Additional Information Provide respiratory therapy care to critically ill pediatric patients across NICU, PICU, and CVICU units Facility is a smoke-free and nicotine-free environment with no exceptions Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine required within 12 months of start and updated annually COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical or religious exemptions only Travelers expected to work every other holiday All RTO requests must be discussed during interview and included at time of submission Two fingerprinting processes required, one onsite prior to start and one through the agency BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract Background check hits of any kind reviewed by facility; open cases or license hits not accepted Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is typically required Locals accepted at the same bill rate Travel experience not required for consideration
