Job Description

Respiratory Therapist (RT) Embassy of Lebanon | Lebanon, Ohio Join a team where your clinical expertise makes a difference. Embassy of Lebanon is seeking a compassionate and dependable Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RT who enjoys working closely with residents, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment. We are looking for someone who brings strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a resident-first approach to care. Our successful team members are guided by integrity, work ethic, compassion, and competence . Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy services in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans. Assess and monitor residents with respiratory conditions and promptly communicate changes in condition. Administer prescribed respiratory treatments, therapies, and medications within scope of practice. Provide oxygen therapy and monitor respiratory equipment as appropriate. Assist with the management and monitoring of residents with tracheostomies and other complex respiratory needs. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with nursing, physicians, rehabilitation, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and care needs. Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures. Respond appropriately to respiratory emergencies and changes in resident condition. Qualifications Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Ohio . Current BLS/CPR certification . Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, hospital, pulmonary, or respiratory care is preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team. Compassionate and professional approach to resident care.
