A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Full-Time Are you an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) looking to advance your career into a leadership role? We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Director to oversee respiratory care services and provide clinical leadership within our facility. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate respiratory therapy services Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to respiratory therapy staff Develop and maintain respiratory care policies, procedures, and standards Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and professional standards Monitor quality of care, documentation, and patient outcomes Provide staff education, training, and mentorship Collaborate with nursing, physicians, therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members Participate in quality improvement initiatives Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management Promote a positive, patient-centered culture of care Qualifications Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential/license in Ohio Respiratory therapy experience required Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred Strong clinical and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, acute care, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred What We Offer Supportive interdisciplinary team environment Opportunity for professional growth and advancement Meaningful opportunity to make an impact on patient care If you are an experienced Respiratory Therapist ready to take the next step into a leadership position, we encourage you to apply today!
