Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various clinical settings, including emergency, critical care, pediatrics, neonatology, and hospital medicine. This role involves assessing patient needs, operating advanced respiratory equipment, managing ventilators, and responding effectively to respiratory emergencies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine respiratory needs and develop individualized care plans. Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and airway management devices. Administer respiratory treatments such as aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, and medication delivery. Manage airway devices during procedures such as intubation and extubation, ensuring optimal patient safety. Respond promptly to cardiac arrest emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts following neonatal resuscitation procedures. Document patients progress accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems and maintain detailed medical records. LAL01
