Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Atoka, OK

Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available at a small, 25-bed healthcare facility for a skilled Respiratory Therapist. This role is essential to managing ventilators and providing respiratory care support in a collaborative environment. Candidates with a background as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or those with experience in ED, Med/Surg, or LTAC settings are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

8-week contract with possible extension 3 shifts per week: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM No weekends; schedule limited to

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday Qualifications:

Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Current, valid professional license in good standing Experience in emergency department and/or medical-surgical settings preferred Familiarity with ventilator management required Previous work in LTAC settings is a plus Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory care to patients as ordered by physicians Manage and monitor ventilators according to facility protocols Assess patients' respiratory needs and treat accordingly Document all therapy delivered and communicate effectively with the healthcare team Educate patients and families on respiratory care as needed Candidates will enjoy a collaborative, patient-focused work culture in a close-knit hospital community.
