This position is designed to provide specialized non-clinical respiratory care and support to the patients in their home.

Key Responsibilities:

Initial set-up of all Oxygen Patients and Ventilator Patients Perform Ninety Day Check/Follow Up to Plan of Care for Oxygen Patients Perform Thirty Day Check/Follow Up to Plan of Care for Ventilator Patients Provide patient re-education as needed Handle deliveries of medical equipment (Oxygen Tanks) Accurate documentation and paperwork Joint commission knowledge

Qualifications:

Education and/or

Experience :

Associate's / Bachelor's degree - Respiratory Therapy Continuing education as required for maintaining licensure.

Language Skills :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write legibly and prepare routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers and peers.

Mathematical Skills :

Basic math skills

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration :

Maintain current licensure for OK and surrounding states (reimbursement available) in good standing for states covered Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Physical Demands:

Frequent stooping, bending, walking, and light to moderate lifting of up to 55 pounds.

Indoor :

Exposure to hazardous chemicals Potentially bio-contaminated equipment and environment Extremes of heat and cold Moderate to loud noise levels

Outdoor :

Exposure to adverse weather conditions while driving and loading/unloading equipment Cleaning of equipment Moderate to loud noise levels
