Respiratory Therapist Shift - Nights with rotating weekends Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients across diverse clinical settings. Your expertise will support patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, ensuring safe and effective treatment while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. Duties Assess patient respiratory status through detailed evaluation of vital signs, lung sounds, oxygen saturation, and medical history. Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen delivery, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and medication administration. Operate and monitor ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP machines, and other advanced respiratory equipment to support patients' breathing needs. Manage airway interventions such as intubation, extubation, suctioning, and airway clearance techniques in emergency and routine situations. Respond promptly to cardiac arrest emergencies by providing advanced airway management and participating in resuscitation efforts following hospital protocols. Document all patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately within EHR systems.
