JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Assists management in monitoring the operations and productivity of assigned department(s). Supervises staff, coordinates activities with leadership and provides support for the efficient and effective delivery of quality services. Assumes management responsibilities as needed.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Samaritan Health Services Respiratory Therapy team delivers treatment and diagnostic patient care services to critical and non-critical patients. We serve all age groups and patient populations using evidence-based techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Current state of Oregon Respiratory Care License required. Current registration by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required upon hire. Three (3) years clinical experience in Respiratory Care required. Leadership experience preferred.
NLH Respiratory Therapy:
ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire. NRP required within six (6) months of hire.
