Respiratory Therapist Shift - Nights (1815 - 0645), every other weekend Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care to patients across diverse clinical settings. Your expertise will support patients with respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal oxygenation and ventilation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Duties Assess patients' respiratory status through detailed evaluation of vital signs, oxygen saturation levels, and physical examination findings. Administer and manage ventilator support for patients requiring mechanical ventilation, adjusting settings based on patient response and physician orders. Perform airway management procedures such as intubation, suctioning, and bronchoscopy assistance to maintain airway patency. Provide emergency respiratory interventions during critical events, utilizing Basic Life Support skills and advanced airway techniques when necessary. Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies, medication administration, and breathing techniques to promote recovery and health maintenance. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physiology knowledge and medical terminology expertise. Requirements Current registration by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required.
