Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality care across diverse healthcare settings nationwide. In this role, you'll perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, manage ventilators and oxygen therapy, administer treatments, and accurately document in EMRs. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and adapt quickly to new facilities and protocols. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop patient-specific care plans Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive ventilation modalities Administer respiratory treatments and therapies per provider orders and protocols Monitor patient response, interpret ABGs, and adjust therapy within scope Document care accurately in EMR systems and maintain regulatory compliance Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams on care decisions Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, equipment, and home care Adapt quickly to new facility protocols, equipment, and workflows during each assignment Maintain clinical competencies, certifications, and licensure across multiple states Uphold infection control, safety standards, and Fusion Medical Staffing values on every assignment Required Skills Ventilator management Arterial blood gas interpretation Respiratory assessments Airway management Oxygen therapy modalities Non-invasive ventilation (Bi
