SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for assisting in department operations, management and development of the Respiratory Care Department including hiring and supervision of staff, assistance with developing and monitoring of budget, policy and procedure. Also responsible for the development and implementation of a continuing clinical education program for Respiratory Care including both new employee orientation and ongoing education for staff. This position is also responsible for developing and managing a patient education program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Licensure in the state of PA as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Minimum three (3) years relevant experience required Previous experience as department manager/assistant department manager, clinical educator Respiratory Therapy instructor required Must have experience in all areas of Respiratory Care including: adult critical care, pediatric and neonatal care.
