Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care in a large hospital setting. The role requires strong mechanical ventilation skills and experience caring for complex patients in a high-acuity/trauma environment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients as assigned. Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators. Perform basic respiratory care procedures and treatments. Assess respiratory status and respond to changes in patient condition. Assist with airway management and ventilator adjustments. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Follow respiratory care protocols and patient safety standards. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC. Float to appropriate units based on department needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist License required BLS required ACLS required PALS required Minimum 1 year of relevant RT experience Strong mechanical ventilator management experience Large hospital/facility experience required Trauma experience required AL01
