A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description
Qualifications and Experience:
Active and current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Proven experience in acute or critical care settings preferred Ability to assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory disorders across all age groups Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and patient interactions Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians Monitor, evaluate, and record patient progress and response to interventions Manage ventilators and artificial airway devices according to best practices and protocols Educate patients and family members on respiratory therapies, equipment use, and health management Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical respiratory interventions when necessary Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility guidelines Take this chance to expand your professional skills and impact patient care in a supportive, modern clinical setting.
