Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Active NBRC credentials Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensing) Prior experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders Administer respiratory therapy treatments and manage ventilators Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases Educate patients and families on respiratory care and best practices Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation in patient records
