Experience:
Active license as a Respiratory Therapist and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of one years experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with chronic and acute respiratory illnesses Operate ventilators, therapeutic equipment, and monitor patient progress Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to develop care plans Deliver patient/family education on respiratory care and equipment Accurately document all patient interactions and therapy outcomes Respond promptly to emergency situations as needed
