Respiratory Therapist Location:

Cookeville, TN Area Permanent Direct Hire | Full-Time We are seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join a growing hospital respiratory care team in Middle Tennessee. This is a great opportunity to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory treatments to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients Monitor patients receiving oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and aerosol treatments Perform pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas collection as needed Assist physicians during emergency airway management and critical care procedures Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards Educate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and home care equipment Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current RRT or CRT credential Tennessee Respiratory Care license (or eligibility) BLS certification required ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred depending on department assignment Previous acute care experience preferred
