PRN Respiratory Therapist CRT
Job Description
- CRT delivers diagnostic, therapeutic, and pharmacologic respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist required BCLS
- Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support required PALS
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support required NRP
- Neonatal Resuscitation if working in the NICU required STABLE
- Neonatal Certification if working in the NICU required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.Florida:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certifications required.Georgia:

What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.
