Required Qualifications:

Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Appropriate state licensure in good standing Demonstrated competence in performing respiratory care procedures, including mechanical ventilation, airway management, and pulmonary diagnostics Prior experience in acute care or hospital environments preferred Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory therapies and interventions per physician orders, ensuring safe and effective patient care Assess patient conditions, monitor responses to therapy, and document all care activities clearly and promptly Perform diagnostic evaluations such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, pulmonary function testing, and bedside spirometry Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding disease management and equipment use Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure a safe, sanitary environment Actively participate in rapid response and code blue situations as needed
