Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Respiratory Therapist with Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials to support patient care as part of a dedicated healthcare team. The assignment runs from September 15, 2026, through December 15, 2026, providing a chance to use your expertise to make a significant impact over a three-month period.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing, planning, and delivering all aspects of respiratory care to patients using current standards and guidelines. Operating a range of respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and airway clearance devices. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to devise and adjust individualized patient care plans. Monitoring patient responses and progress, documenting all interventions and communications. Educating patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatments, and at-home care procedures. Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Ideal qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license. Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Demonstrated competency in providing care to a diverse patient population in a clinical setting. Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
