Job Description Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non respiratory illness. Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment Complete a variety of bedside treatments Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation Attend applicable IDT meetings Experience with tracheotomy Experience is a long term care setting Follow procedure and protocol of facility Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management Performs related duties as required Described in the Departmental Policy and procedure Manual in these areas of skilled interventions: Oxygen weaning therapy Omniflow - Biofeed back Group respiratory therapy Standardized respiratory testing Aerosol therapy IPPB therapy Incentive Spirometry Chest physiotherapy Deep breathing and coughing Bronchial hygiene therapy PEP therapy Postal Drainage Positioning Oro/Naso-pharyngeal suctioning Airway clearance/management techniques Trachea-bronchial suctioning Tracheostomy care Spirometry Bedside Testing

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
