This role is crucial in maintaining the high standard of care associated with our emergency, heart care, and women's services. The successful candidate will oversee the respiratory care department, develop care protocols, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while mentoring and building a strong team. Responsibilities Manage and supervise the respiratory therapy department. Develop, implement and review treatment protocols and patient care programs. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards. Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to respiratory therapists. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Manage departmental staffing, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Required Skills Proficient in using medical equipment and technology related to respiratory care Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Proficient in healthcare regulations and respiratory therapy standards Problem-solving skills
