As a Respiratory Therapist at Avir at Montana, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing life-supporting respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory problems, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care to patients, including administration of oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and medication Conduct assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of respiratory care plans Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans Perform ventilator management and weaning, as well as management of respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential Minimum 0 years of experience in respiratory therapy Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and patients as necessary
