Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) environments. This vital role involves providing advanced respiratory care to critically ill neonates and pediatric patients across various hospital settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in respiratory therapy, airway management, ventilator operation, and emergency response protocols, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Duties Assess patient respiratory status through comprehensive evaluation of vital signs, oxygenation levels, and pulmonary function tests. Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment including ventilators, nebulizers, and other respiratory devices tailored for neonatal and pediatric patients. Administer prescribed respiratory therapies, medications, and interventions while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards. Manage airway procedures such as intubation, extubation, and airway clearance techniques with precision and confidence. Respond promptly to cardiac arrest emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts following neonatal resuscitation procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and pulmonologists to develop individualized care plans. Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, recording assessments, treatments, and patient responses. Provide education to patients' families regarding respiratory conditions, device usage, and post-discharge care instructions. Ensure compliance with hospital policies related to infection control, medication administration, and safety protocols. Stay current with advancements in critical care practices, physiology knowledge, and medical equipment operation. LAL01
