A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Respiratory Technologist Opportunity:
Schedule:
Full-time, direct hire position | Night Shifts Tuition assistance, generous PTO, retirement plan, and more! The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for treating patients of all ages in critical, non-critical, and chronically ill conditions under minimal supervision. Institute respiratory care plans, work with physicians and other providers, and perform diagnostic procedures throughout the facility Procedures may consist of pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy assistance, hemodynamic monitoring, airway management, and more
Respiratory Therapist Requirements:
Be a Registered Respiratory Therapist through the NBRC Hold an active RT or RCP License in Texas Previous experience as an RRT is required About the
