This role will be full-time day shift from Monday

Job Responsibilities:
Performs pre-procedure assessment. Reviews pre-procedural patient information including H & P, medications, allergies. Coordinates planned care with other healthcare team members. Displays a strong foundation in physiology along with a strong understanding of the respiratory system Implements principles of aseptic technique utilizing a thorough knowledge of basic infection control practices. Implements knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic scopes and high-level disinfection process. Ensures safety by knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures, especially those pertaining to the bronchoscopy suite, safety, security, fire, emergency, and biomedical.
Additional Requirements:
Licensure
  • Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State Certification
  • Registered respiratory therapist/ Basic Life support/ Advance Cardiovascular Life support Experience
  • 5 years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist; 3 years of critical care Education
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
