Location:

Burlington, Vermont Responsibilities Provide prescribed respiratory care to inpatients in adult ICU, adult ED, PICU, and NICU Level III as an RRT. Manage ventilator support, airway care, airway clearance, suctioning, and respiratory therapies per physician orders. Monitor patient status, interpret data, adjust ventilator settings, and respond to changes in patient condition; document care in the EMR. Perform related procedures (humidification, airway clearance therapy, CPAP/BiPAP as ordered) and ensure patient safety and infection control standards. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and educate patients and families as appropriate. Weekend coverage as needed; no on-call responsibilities; schedule flexibility is required. Requirements Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT not accepted. NBRC verification required.

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

(NRP required upon submission). Minimum 1 year of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience in inpatient settings. Inpatient experience in Adult ICU, Adult ED, PICU, and NICU Level III; teaching hospital experience required. Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years. Prior travel experience preferred. Must be able to work in a high-acuity inpatient setting and adapt to a fast-paced schedule. Benefits and Support Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays (next available 11/02) to support onboarding.
