Weekly Requirements:

Washington State Respiratory Care License required at the time of submission (WA license in hand). Must Have 2 Years of experience Including NICU and Adult. RRT or

CRT, NRP. PALS, ACLS, BLS

credentials are required. Must be willing to float to other units within competency, as all respiratory staff function as variables.

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 13-week assignment with a leading healthcare facility. The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level

III NICU

while also supporting Adult ICU patients as needed. The ideal candidate has recent Level III or Level IV NICU experience strong critical care skills, and is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based respiratory care in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assess, treat, and monitor neonatal patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions in the NICU. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, CPAP, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory treatments. Manage and monitor neonatal ventilators, high-frequency ventilation, and airway support equipment. Perform neonatal resuscitation and respond to respiratory emergencies as part of the critical care team. Obtain and analyze arterial, capillary, and venous blood gases as appropriate. Provide respiratory care for Level II Adult ICU patients within scope of practice when assigned. Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatments according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and respiratory care standards. Float to other respiratory care areas within competency as required. HAL01
