Description This is a combined posting for a Respiratory Care Practitioner and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides direct patient care by utilizing appropriate knowledge and skills in collaboration with other members of the health care team, providing skilled, creative, discipline-specific therapeutic services to cardiopulmonary patients. The Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner provides direct patient care by utilizing appropriate knowledge and skills in collaboration with other members of the health care team, providing skilled, creative, discipline-specific therapeutic services to cardiopulmonary patients. The Senior Respiratory Therapist will work collaboratively utilizing current best practice to manage the patient care within a multidisciplinary team, to create the best possible outcome for our patients. The therapist may supervise volunteers, students, or other supportive personnel.
Respiratory Care Practitioner Required Qualifications:
Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire National Provider BLS
  • American Heart Association upon hire National Provider ACLS
  • American Heart Association within 90 days of hire National Provider PALS
  • American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions.
