Assess, treat, and monitor patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments while monitoring patient response Operate and maintain ventilators and other advanced respiratory equipment Provide airway care, resuscitation support, and emergency respiratory interventions Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to develop, implement, and adjust respiratory care plans ✅What We're Looking For:
Education meeting applicable Respiratory Care Practitioner certification/licensure requirements Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License required at hire BLS Certification - American Heart Association Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment Interested? A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.
