Job Summary:
Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience providing comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and critical-care patients. Skilled in assessing respiratory conditions, administering oxygen and aerosol therapies, managing ventilators, performing airway care, and responding to respiratory emergencies. Experienced in collaborating with physicians and nursing teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans while maintaining patient safety and accurate clinical documentation Duties Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patients' respiratory status, oxygen saturation, and vital signs. Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, nebulizer treatments, and other prescribed respiratory therapies. Set up, operate, and monitor invasive and non-invasive ventilators. Assess ventilator settings and make appropriate adjustments according to physician orders and patient response. Collect and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) and communicate significant results to the healthcare team. Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments, inhaler use, oxygen therapy, and disease management. Document assessments, treatments, patient responses, and respiratory care plans accurately in the EMR.
Requirements:
WA License RRT certification BLS(AHA) 2 Year of RRT experience in Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center HAL01
