Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain) Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Recent experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in acute care or hospital environments Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver skilled respiratory therapy interventions for diverse patient populations, including assessments, treatments, and monitoring Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care professionals to optimize patient outcomes Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safe and effective use Provide patient and family education regarding disease management and therapy techniques Document care with accuracy and professionalism
