Weekly Gross Local:
$55/hour on W-2 Travel eligibility: Candidate's DL address must be 50+ miles from the facility .
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program Education verification required Current Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License Current RRT credential through
NBRC AHA
Provider Level BLS NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Valid Driver's License (DL) copy

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform respiratory therapies to assist in the treatment, diagnosis, and evaluation of cardiopulmonary conditions. Conduct emergency rounds, oxygen saturation checks, and oxygen titration according to established protocols. Initiate, monitor, evaluate, and wean invasive and non-invasive ventilation. Assess patients and recommend appropriate respiratory therapies based on clinical condition, laboratory values, and patient response. Administer medications and oxygen therapies according to physician orders and therapist-driven protocols. Assess patients before and after respiratory treatments, procedures, and medication administration. Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapies, medications, treatment goals, and equipment. Set up, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation equipment. Assist with therapeutic bronchoscopies and pulmonary function screening as required. Respond to emergency situations and participate in resuscitation, including airway management, chest compressions, airway stabilization, and ventilator support. Transport critically ill and mechanically ventilated patients for procedures and diagnostic testing within the hospital. Provide developmentally appropriate respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients when assigned. Maintain respiratory equipment and departmental supplies according to infection-control and safety standards. Participate in continuing education, in-services, professional development, and community education activities. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
