Contract-to-Perm Role Summary We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a collaborative healthcare team in Welch, WV. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages while delivering high-quality clinical support in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory interventions Operate and monitor ventilators and other respiratory care equipment Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analyze results Respond to respiratory emergencies and code situations Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans Maintain accurate patient documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team Required Certifications Current West Virginia Respiratory Therapist License CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Qualifications Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy Previous hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred Strong knowledge of ventilator management and respiratory care practices Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment Education Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required Benefits Competitive pay Opportunity for permanent employment Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Supportive and collaborative healthcare team Why Welch, WV?
