Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your speech-language pathology career to new heights and experience the beauty of Alaska while making a difference in students' lives. Multiple opportunities are available for dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists in a supportive and collaborative school environment. This full-time, contract position spans the entire school year and offers a true travel adventure near Kenai, AK. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are a Clinical Fellow (CFY), your expertise and passion for student success will be celebrated and valued. You'll work alongside a team that truly supports each other and is committed to providing the highest standard of care for students.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Alaska Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellow candidates also encouraged to apply Passion for working with school-aged children and adolescents Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, team-focused environmentResponsibilities:
Provide assessment and therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough and timely documentation in line with district and state standards Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture What's in it for you?
