Job Requirements:

Min Experience:

5 Years (10 Preferred)

Education:

High School Diploma, Citizenship:

USA or Permanent resident Green Alien.

Additional Skills:

Able to Identify best way to setup, for repair and or manufacture of components as required, Strong Blue print reading and extrapolation ability, Manual Lathe, Horizontal Boring Mill, Bed and Knee Mill, Drill Press, Vertical Turret Lathe, Strong Math Skills, 5S Skills Desirable, Strong Service Background in Turbine repairs highly desirable Pre Hire Screening or testing: Drug testing (DOT)

Testing:

None (preferred candidate available for 1-2 week paid trial period to work at Service center to show knowledge of machining and to familiarize themselves with the community prior to relocating.

Salary:

Pay is based upon Industry norms and demonstrated skills.

Job Description:

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments commonly with 0.0002" tolerance on a manual machine. Includes manual machine which fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. Operate manual machinery standard within the industry.
