A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Kenai Kids Therapy Inc, established in 2002, is a thriving outpatient pediatric center. Come join our affirming, friendly, and supportive work environment. At Kenai Kids Therapy we foster opportunities to grow together both professionally and personally while developing meaningful relationships. Kenai Kids Therapy is a dynamic therapy practice uniquely designed for infants, toddlers, children, and youth with congenital, developmental, sensory, neurological, orthopedic, communication, language, feeding, and motor performance disorders. We offer a family centered supportive multidisciplinary team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. Our spacious setting enjoys many treatment rooms creatively designed to treat ages birth thru eighteen with evidence-based intervention strategies via play-based intervention.
