Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for the state of Alabama (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation and therapy services for a variety of communication and language disorders Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals for student success Communicate progress and recommend strategies for the classroom setting Maintain accurate records and participate in relevant meetings
