Key Qualifications:

Active Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP Cert in AL) Alabama SLP Educator Cert and completed fingerprinting

ASHA CCC

(Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Recent school-based SLP or pediatric experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational staff Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations (preschool through high school) as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students (onsite only) Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs Maintain appropriate documentation and progress reports for student files Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support overall educational goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student support strategies You'll be working a 37.5 hour workweek following the academic calendar (August through May), serving across several school sites.
