9595625-35950 Job Description Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity serving K-12 students across three conveniently located school sites near Albertville, AL. This position offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a supportive educational setting, working as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027.
Required Qualifications:
Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Alabama Experience or training in school-based and pediatric settings (CFY candidates welcome to apply) SLP-CCC or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) background Familiarity with healthcare-related SLP responsibilities is a plus Organized and adaptable, able to effectively manage a K-12 caseload across three nearby campuses
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech, language, and communication services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized goals, and help implement IEPs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Travel between three local school sites, ensuring consistent, quality services Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and ongoing communication with all stakeholders This is a contract position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligning with the full academic year.
