Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available, providing services in a school setting that supports adjudicated youth. This contract position is based in Anniston, AL, focusing on teletherapy within educational and pediatric healthcare contexts. Key responsibilities include delivering specialized speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to meet the needs of school-aged clients, particularly those in adjudicated settings. Sessions are scheduled for 90 minutes monthly, with flexible timing options between 8:30 and 11:30 AM or 1:30 and 2:30 PM, allowing for adaptability in service delivery. Qualifications and experience sought for this position include: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in tele-speech therapy and teletherapy practices Background in pediatric speech-language pathology within school and healthcare environments Familiarity with the specific challenges and needs of adjudicated youth Strong communication skills and ability to engage clients remotely This role emphasizes providing impactful speech-language services through innovative teletherapy methods, supporting the development and communication skills of youth within a unique educational setting.
