9669324-36207 Job Description Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about making a difference in the lives of students ages 3 through 6th grade. This contract role offers you the chance to provide dedicated speech and language support for a manageable caseloadall within a single lively school campus near Anniston, AL. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and student growth, youll play a vital role in helping children develop essential communication skills in both individual and small group settings.
Qualifications:
Current AL Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLP-CFY) Background in pediatric SLP, school-based therapy, or healthcare SLP services Previous experience with elementary and preschool populations preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Eagerness to work within a diverse educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of 40 students from preschool to 6th grade Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain documentation in compliance with state and district standards Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes Implement evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to individual needs Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary Serve as a resource and advocate for students communication and language development This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position is available for immediate start and runs through May 2027.
