Qualifications:

Active Alabama SLP License required Experience with school-based SLP services (K-12) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desirable; Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Background in pediatric and healthcare SLP preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to travel locally between three school sites

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs in line with IEP goals Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support academic achievement and social participation Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records compliant with district and state guidelines Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for appropriate interventions Offer support and education to teachers and family members regarding communication strategies Adapt services for diverse student needs in both individual and group settings

Start date: August 12, 2026 End date: May 26, 2027

Schedule:

37.5 hours per week, Monday through
