Youll serve an approximate caseload of 60 students at a variety of educational levels, including preschool, elementary, middle, and high school, ensuring high-impact, personalized SLP support throughout the academic year. What we're seeking: Hold current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or be Clinical Fellowship eligible Possess an active Alabama SLP license SLP Educator certification for Alabama public schools (fingerprinting and credential verification required) Experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability in dynamic school environments What youll do: Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in individual or group settings Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and families Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation Rotate between assigned campuses, including Burkett Preschool, Hueytown Primary, Lipscomb Elementary/Hueytown Middle, Pinson Valley High, and UW/Bagley, to meet student needs Five onsite positions are available, offering the opportunity to make a substantial difference in students lives.
