Experience with schools, SLP-CCC, CFY, or healthcare settings with a pediatric focus is welcomed.
Qualifications:
Active Alabama SLP license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Proven experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in K-12 school settings Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Position Details:
Contract position for the 20262027 school year, starting August 12, 2026 and ending May 26, 2027 Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday Service provided across three nearby school campuses, allowing for engaging variety without long commutes Caseload includes students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, offering an opportunity to impact a wide range of developmental stages Implement comprehensive evaluation and therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to design and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student progress and confidence Help make a difference in the lives of studentswhile enjoying the structure and continuity of a full school year assignment.
