Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role supporting students' communication needs for the 2024-2025 school year! This contract position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) seeking professional growth while making a difference with K-12 learners across three school settings. You'll provide comprehensive speech therapy services on a full-time basis, working 7-hour days with a set schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (with 30-minute unpaid lunch and an additional 30-minute unpaid break). There's a bit of flexibility to the end of your day, depending on the final school location visited. Your expertise will be invaluable as you navigate the entire K-12 age range, supporting diverse communication skill sets.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA State licensure (or eligibility) as required for speech-language pathologists Previous pediatric or K-12 school-based SLP experience preferred Strong knowledge of IEP procedures and documentation Excellent communication and adaptability across multiple school environments

Responsibilities:

Complete assessments, evaluations, and develop IEP goals Deliver individual or group therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and school staff to support students' progress Maintain accurate records and timely data entry to meet compliance standards Travel between school sites within the district during the school day Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Elevate your SLP career while fostering important communication skills for students of all ages.
