Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly valued Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student growth and overall success Participate in IEP meetings and progress evaluations Clearly communicate evaluation results, therapy plans, and strategies to staff and families Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
